Dakota Central Telecommunications Board of Directors is pleased to announce the eigth year of the Dakota Central Scholarship Program. Young people are considered a very valuable resource at Dakota Central. This program has been established to encourage youth in our area to further their education after graduating from High School.
The Dakota Central Scholarship Program has set aside ten $500 scholarships to be awarded to high school seniors whose parents are customers of Dakota Central Telecommunications. To be eligible, the applicant must currently be a high school senior who plans to attend a college, university, vocational or technical post-secondary school. The student's parent(s) or guardian(s) must use telephone, television or Internet service from Dakota Central.
To be considered for this year's scholarship, applications must be postmarked no later than February 22, 2008.

Make sure you complete each field, preview and print a copy to send along with your letter of recommendation from a community member (not related to applicant), a letter of recommendation from a high school official/teacher, Short essay explaining why you should be chosen for this scholarship and a copy of your high school transcript and photo.
